Hispania Activos Inmobiliarios SOCIMI has acquired a plot to build two office buildings in Madrid for EUR32 million.
The plot is located in the Campo de las Naciones office area, in Vía de los Poblados, 1, next to the Cristalia Business Park.
This is the most consolidated office district in Madrid outside of the CBD, with more than 500,000 sq m of available office space, distributed in three phases and occupied by many national and international corporate headquarters. The land plot acquired is the last available in this location and the development of these two office buildings will complete the third and last phase of the development in the area.
Hispania plans to build a real estate complex of 56,000 sq m (33,124 sq m above ground) and circa 800 parking spaces, with two Class A office buildings connected through a covered walkway. Additionally, the complex will have landscape areas and various facilities, amongst others, restaurants, cafeterias, a gym, a nursery and an auditorium. Hispania expects to start the construction immediately and complete the works by the fourth quarter of 2018.
Both buildings will have dividable areas within the floors and enable a connection between them, allowing a large corporate HQ configuration.
